Refresher on the Global Warming Scam

Just posting an update on the battle against the big scam known as Global Warming while previous posts are starting to get buried and forgotten…… a reminder of previous posted links on the subject + a few new ones that’ve cropped up since last time:

Remember… it’s all a huge scam cooked up by Scientists desperate to cling onto to their research funding + Al Gore to give himself something to do and earn a bit on the side.

The most serious pluggers of “Global Warming” only seem to look at the last 150years of weather

Those who know better (that it’s a nonsensical scam), look back alot further in time from when the Earth was first created (using Geological evidence) through to the present via the ice ages.

Some people should be Euthanised at Birth!

Just blogging about an internet harrassment complaint I had to file yesterday after someone has started tryin to bully me online in the same way I’ve been getting trouble from people in the offline world since I first started school in 1983/1984.
I’ve so far sent complaints about it to….
– TWITTER Customer service (Sunday lunchtime)
– Wikipedia moderators (about 5am BST Monday morning / Midnight US Eastern)
http://www.wiredsafety.org (about 6am BST Monday morning
https://complaint.ic3.gov/ (about 6am BST Monday morning)

And so far it seems bugger-all is being done to nail the person harrassing / “cyberstalking” / “Cyberbullying” me…

Here’s what has been going on:
===========================================
This is my genuine Twitter Page: https://twitter.com/jduck1979

The “jduck1979” bit being a username i’ve used around the internet for a number of years at various places… I even have the domain name http://www.jduck1979.co.uk

On the morning of Sunday 26th July 2009 I was checking my Twitter account, looking at my followers, and saw this one: https://twitter.com/realjduck1979
Which appeared to be an attempt to impersonate / mock / harrass me.
I subsequently Blocked & reported this profile to Twitter customer service, but a fat lot of good that did because the offending profile’s still up & running. (I always seem to find website & ISP abuse departments about as much use as a Chocolate fireguard when i need them to get their finger out most).

Later in the day at around 8:14pm BST, i was just about to start dinner, and the thought occurred to me to check my Wikipedia profile @ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Jduck1979

Which was just as well because I found somebody from IP Address 74.196.172.31 had made some additions to it…
1) a line of text featuring a chant people used to taunt me with since primary school in the 1980’s
2) a couple of links

I’ve just been back to check my Wikipedia profile page at around 5:45am BST before i finally crawl off to bed, and found a load of text / links had been deleted from my wikipedia profile, and some more harrassing stuff put in it’s place.
It was done by this Wikipedia profile owner:

===========================================

At time of posting this blog entry Their offending fake profiles they’re using to try harrass me still ain’t been deleted… but I bet the nob will have something about this blog entry before long, you just watch….. (too chicken to reveal yourself?).

I’ve got a fair few ideas who it could be…

Some idiot called “Mark Shipman” has already been giving me random bursts of harrassment in the past several months on Facebook (just popped up out of nowhere when I commented on my friend’s profile over there).

I’ve also noticed “Shane Sykes” & “Michael Tilley” have arrived on Facebook lately too… they were among the key group of troublemakers who’d pull shit like this in yr10/11 at Whitby Community College from 1993 – 1995. Little wankers.

If anyone knows who this twat is, kindly pass on any relevant information in the hope I can get the braindead morons charged with Harrassment.

Told ya global warming was a pile of crappy lies

Seems more & more is starting to come about about this, here’s a collection of links about it I’ve come across (seeing as I keep losing them when I need them):

JD’s 30th Birthday – the presents

You may have noticed via the big gaps between posts on this blog that they come along in pops & farts, and I don’t post on my blog that often, then post sh*tloads at once like I’m doing right now.

On 20th March of this year (2009) it was my 30th birthday, it wasn’t really that much to shout about really… was kinda hoping to go somewhere like Scarborough or York on the bus or something, but my Dad wanted me to go to the flamin’ bank for him. As usual I didn’t have a party either.

Anyway, enough of that… I suppose more interesting would be blabbering on about the presents I got instead.

If there’s any thieving little twats reading this, such as the ones who nicked my Nintendo DS + 1st Nokia N-Gage a couple of years ago, don’t even think about it unless you want to be hung, drawn & quartered.

In the weeks leading up to my Birthday, I started looking up presents to buy just for me with my own money (seeing as I rarely get given anything I actually WANT by relatives these days on Birthday & Christmas, unless it’s money… in which case the more the better)…….. in particular I started looking at Binoculars.

I eventually opted for a pair of Meade Travelview 8-24×50’s for £40 from Telescopehouse.com – there were cheaper models, such as the 10×50’s from the same range for about £22.50 but I figured if I did get the cheaper ones from the same range I’d then regret not opting for the 8-24×50’s with it’s greater variety of options, as they can be used as, with the tweak of a lever:

  • 8×50’s
  • 10×50’s
  • 12×50’s
  • 14×50’s
  • 16×50’s
  • 18×50’s
  • 20×50’s
  • 22×50’s
  • 24×50’s

They arrived something like 10days or so before my birthday, and impressions so far are that they’re bloody brilliant….. better even than the 10×50 Carl Zeiss things from East Germany my Dad bought me for my birthday (out of my own pocket money!) around the late 1980’s, and I kinda accidently broke so only one side of them has been usable of the years.

I’ll try remember to write some more about stuff I’ve done with the new binoculars in a later blog post, otherwise this could end up being a very long post.

On the actual day of my birthday, I got £25 in cash… a big plastic toolbox / tacklebox I don’t have much use for (or space to put it) + some UMBRO branded showergel/deodorant.

After much consideration, I spent the £25 on these things….

Dogtanian (Series1) on DVD
I used to watch this show as much as I could when I was a kid, summer holidays when I was still @ Primary school wasn’t complete without seeing this in the mornings (usually followed by Inspector Gadget, if I remember correctly)… and I’d recently found the series on YouTube (with bits missing), so thought I’d get the DVD while I still could. With a bit of luck I might even have time to watch it one day.

The Simpsons: Hit & Run (PC)
I already had this game for my Gamecube since around 2005 (in fact it’s what prompted me to buy the Gamecube in the first place) , and been considering for the past year or two to get the PC version of it so I can play the game even when I can’t use the Gamecube (can you tell I like this game?).

Race Driver: GRID (Nintendo DS)
I’d been waiting a while for a decent racing game for my DS, only having MarioKart DS to race with on that, and that didn’t really feel aggressive enough compared to, say McRae Rally 2005 on my Nokia N-Gage or GP2 / GP3 on the PC, or Gran Turismo 3 on my Playstation2. This game seemed the best bet, especially with the track designer, even more so now I’ve pretty much figured out how to work it.

After the Saturday & Sunday that followed my birthday, I’ve had an extra £40 of Birthday money come in from a couple of late stragglers, and right now I’m trying to decide what to get with it. I also won £20 on the THUNDERBALL draw of the National Lottery on 1st April, which I guess means I now have £60 to spend….. only trouble is I can’t decide what to get with it, as there’s so much stuff I want right now (and can’t bloody afford), including:

  • A new fishing reel to go with the Shakespeare MACH1 8ft Quiver rod I bought with last year’s birthday money.
  • Professor Layton (Nintendo DS)
  • Lego Indiana Jones or Star Wars (Nintendo DS)
  • iPOD Nano (but not enough)
  • Fuji F50fd / F60fd / F100fd / F200fd Digital Camera
  • Fuji S100fs Digital camera (not enough for that)
  • Fuji S5 Pro digital camera (definately not enough)
  • To start driving lessons again (not enough for that)
  • Abu Garcia Esprit 13ft Match rod (mk1 or mk2)
  • Abu Suveran Feeder rod (too much money)
  • BERKLEY M1 Barbel rod (too much + seemingly no longer available)
  • A new watch

There’s also many other things I want that’d take even longer to list, but I guess you get the idea by now. I was also hoping to have a bit more to spend after the 2009 Grand National, but if you’ve already seen the post for that, you probably know by now that that idea didn’t quite work.

For the reel to go on the rod, I’ve seen 2 for around the £25 – £30 mark, but only trouble is deciding which bloody one to get….. either the “Shakespare MACH2 rear drag” (in 035 size), or the “Mitchell Avocet Gold II 2000 rear drag”. I’ve also seen the budget version of the “John Wilson Avon Quiver” rod (I’ve always wanted a John Wilson Avon rod since I first started watching his Fishing TV shows such as “Go Fishing” in the late 1980’s / early 1990’s) for about £38.95

I also kinda want a new watch, since the Casio EDB-701 e-Databank watch I bought a couple of years ago is in nearly as bad a condition as the watch I bought it to replace (+ the battery appears to be getting low, and the backlighting won’t work as a result).

Guess I’ll just have to keep on thinking about it.

2009 Grand National

4th April 2009 saw the running of this years Grand National, and my 2nd serious attempt at placing some money on it @ Ladbrokes.

In 2008 I won something like £20 – £25, in 2009, to say I wasn’t so lucky would be a bit of an understatement…..

£8 e/w on “My Will” @ 7/1 = £11
£6 e/w on “Butlers Cabin” @ 9/1 = £0
£4 e/w on “Rambling Minster” @ 10/1 = £0
60p e/w on “State of Play” @ 12/1 = £1.20
40p e/w on “Black Apalachi” @ 14/1 = £0
40p e/w on “Comply or Die” @ 12/1 = 80p
Bets = £19.40
Returns = £13

BBC News website, and low-energy light bulbs…

They really seem to have it in for them this week…. 5 days into 2008, and already they’ve got 3 news stories up on the site.

Low Energy Light bulbs cause migraines

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/7167860.stm

Low Energy Light bulbs worsen Skin rashes

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/7170246.stm

And now…… Environment Agency issues warnings about how to dispose of the damn things properly (which sounds akin to handling nuclear waste or asbestos)

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7172662.stm

Personally I’ve never been much of a fan of the things myself… and I remember while round at my Grandma’s one day while her house was being assessed for some low cost energy scheme for old / disabled people (“Warm front” / “Stay warm”?) the bloke going round the house doing it advised they shouldn’t be turned on if you’re going to be in & out the room for an hour or less at a time (or words to that effect), as they use up 10times more energy than a normal bulb for the first hour or so of use.

2k7 Questionnaire

(originally posted to MySpace Bulletins, but it appears to be playing silly sods again there as usual and not showing!)

1) Where did you begin 2007?
In the livingroom watching SKY NEWS, or maybe BBC1 with the old git

2) What was your status by Valentine’s Day?
Bordering teetering on the edge of giving up completely, and thinking all those I wanted to hook up with hated me (pretty much same today, only worse)

3) Were you in school (anytime this year)?
Nope

4) How did you earn your money?
Unemployment benefit, a couple extra £££’s helping my grandma on Saturdays…. 2 or 3 small (<£8) wins on the Euromillions lottery, Dividend payments on my share portfolio, a pay-out from product review / surveys / comparison site Ciao, interest payments from the money I’ve got loaned out at ZOPA + a few £££’s earned from running AMAZON ASSOCIATES adverts on my websites.

5) Did you have to go to the hospital?
Nope… even despite my back going out on me 2/3 times, cutting my tongue on a knife licking curry off it, hurting my wrist while drying my hands on a tea towel + probably picking up several other stupid but painful injuries I’ve forgotten about.

6) Did you have any encounters with the police?
Twice at the end of May / beginning of June when some little twat stole my Nintendo DS Original, NEW Super Mario Bros game cart + my Nokia N-Gage phone.

Random bag check @ York Railway Station during a day trip down there in September.

7) Where did you go on holiday?
Nowhere…. ain’t had a holiday away from home since 1994, and can’t afford one either.

8) What did you pay for that was over $1000?
Nothing, I’ve been largely too skint to buy much all year.

9) Did you know anybody who got married?
Not that I can remember

10) Did you move anywhere?
No (only from my chair here at the computer, to the toilet and back again + to the shops and back, etc lol)

11) What concerts/shows did you go to?
None

12) Are you registered to vote?
Since 1997

13) Who did you want to win Big Brother?
Couldn’t give a crap about it.

14) Where do you live now?
Same place i’ve lived for the last 28yrs (apart from when I stayed at my Grandparents the first couple of times my Mum had brain tumours)….. flat above the family’s grocery store, just outside Whitby (and it’s marked on GOOGLE EARTH)

15) Describe your birthday.
Light snow / hailstones / forecast heavy showers…… none of my online friends bothered to send me a card / present / wish me happy birthday despite the effort I often go to to send the ones who’ve given me their snail-mail address something – the only one who did have a good excuse was stuck in Hospital in California recovering from major Spinal surgery.
Had about £55-£60 fall out of the cards from family, but it largely went towards trying to bring my bank balance closer towards being back in credit.
It was on 20th March, if anyone cares for future reference.

16) What’s one thing you thought you’d never do but did in 2007?
Start my own business – http://www.jd-photography-webdesign.co.uk
but it’s been running since end of September, and the sales figures resemble the Pope’s sex life.

17) What has been your favorite moment?
Apart from getting my Fuji S6500fd (S6000fd) Digital camera, I think this year has largely been a series of kicks in the teeth.

18) What’s something you learned?
That relationships are largely a waste of time (unless anyone reading this wants to prove otherwise).

19) Any new additions to your family?
nope

20) What was your best month?
I don’t think there’s been one

21) What music will you remember 2007 by?
n/a

22) Who has been your best drinking buddy?
The usual….. my right hand, and the fluff in my belly button

23) Made new friends?
No, but had plenty of people I thought were my friends kick me in the teeth

24) Best new friend?
Ummm….. nope, not really been seeking out new friends this year, as it’s getting rarer & rarer that I flick through profiles / penpal adverts and come across anyone I click with.
Had a few of my all time favourite online friends get back in touch with me (Christina G, Kat, Melly)……. but also had considerably more turn their backs on me for no good reason / ignore me for long periods of time, despite my best efforts to be “nice” (Catherine Q-T, Alicia, Alissa, Jessie H…..) – when that happens, they invoke the “JD Grudge” (when that’s triggered it can take years to make amends, no matter how hard they beg for forgiveness)….. and makes me even less inclined to bother go looking for replacement friends (the last one i felt any form of connection with was as long ago as 2005 from a Prison penpals website)

25) Favorite Night out?
I never have nights out

Pass the ear plugs…….

Just been downstairs to the shop to see if I could find something for today’s lunch (no luck) + see if Postman Pat had been and brought me any mail today…. which he has, but just looks like something from NatWest bank.

The dippy limp wristed “victim support” lot have sent some annoying crap, including a stupid bloody “personal attack alarm”…. which the old git’s (my Dad) trying to force me, under duress to take with me next time I go to the bank for him……. geesh, he’ll probably be trying to force me to wear a dress + a bloody handbag next!
They’ve also sent a chime thingy that goes off when the door is opened, and it makes an annoying noise, similar to one of them musical greeting cards, or one of them reversing alarms…….. only worse. =\

Does anyone know the best way of shoving these bloody things up a “victim support” councillors rectum? >:(

F***ING THIEVING C**TS!!!!!!!!!

Stolen in a walk-in theft from the flat above the family grocery store on 31st May 2007 between 2:30pm – 4:45pm:

1x Nokia N-Gage mobile phone / Handheld games console (“Classic” version, not “N-Gage QD”)
Contained “Nokia Game” MMC memory card (as supplied with the console when new) with “FLO BOARDING” game (with some of my own files saved in the spare space on it) + a VODAFONE SIM card which no longer works after the “PAY AS YOU GO” account for it expired due to a technical fault involving having trouble getting a signal incurred since having the thing reflashed @ FONEFIX UK in York around August/September 2005, and having not made an outgoing call on it for 3-6months. Battery (Nokia BL-5C) flat at time of theft.
IMEI CODE: 351521000959122

1x Nintendo DS (original, aka “DS Fat”), in silver.
Paint was starting to fade around left side of control pad
Possible dead pixel on one of the screens, I think the bottom one
serial No. not available

1x “NEW Super Mario Bros” game cartridge for Nintendo DS (inside DS Game cart slot at time of theft)
Game save slot one saved @ Level 2 or 3 (when left off last time I played it), with about 75-80(ish) lives left having already run through and completed that saved game more times than I can be bothered to count!
Game save slot two saved @ Level 4
Game save slot three = empty

1x “The Simpsons: Road rage” game cartridge for “Nintendo Gameboy Advanced”.
Was in the “Gameboy Advanced” (GBA) cartridge slot at the front of my Nintendo DS @ time of theft (largely bought ‘cos it was cheap + I wanted something to fill that slot).

Both handheld consoles (Nintendo DS + Nokia N-Gage) are without chargers (due to the fact the theiving little twats left them where they were)

UPDATE: (5th June/5:10pm BST) – still no sign of the motherf*ckers, but suddenly remembered that the serial number on the Nintendo DS started with “S212”
